Visual Kei refers to a movement among Japanese rock (jrock) musicians and is characterized by the use of elaborate costumes, eccentric, looks and hairstyles. The Visual Kei look usually involves striking make-up, The "kei" in Visual Kei is japanese for style of type, meaning "visual style music" The music ranges from eighties goth rock, to heavy metal to punk and usually some combo of the three. Most bands are indie but a not many make it to major labels such as Malice Mizer, Raphael, & Dir En Grey. Visual Kei has influenced Harajuku style fashion, especially those who gather on Jingu Bashi - a pedestrian bridge connecting the bustling Harajuku district with Meiji Shrine. On the bridge you could find Visual Kei cosplayers (those dressed as their favorite musicians) and those in the subculture known as Gothic Lolita based on Lolita fashion. Often fans of such bands also will dress up for concerts, meet ups, and other events where they will see other people who enjoy Visual Kei.

Vokalist Heisei Inshin, Taku telah meniggal dunia pada 10 disember 2010. Punca kematian tidak dapat diketahui. Beliau meniggal dunia sebelum hari jadinya yang ke - 22. 

 Versailles Philharmonic Quintet  

 Jasmine Yuu

Beliau adalah bassist kumpulan Versailles Philharmonic Quintet. Beliau meniggal dunia pada  8 september 2009. Nama sebenar beliau ialah Kageyama Yuuchi, meninggal pada usia 30 tahun. Beliau seorang bassist yang bagus dan berkarisma. Kematian beliau akibat penyakit yang diberitahu oleh Kamijo (vocalist). Cerita sebelum beliau meninggal, beliau mengajak member versailles pergi ke suatu tempat diatas bukit menggunakan kereta. apabila semua turun, hanya Jasmine saja yang tidak dapat keluar kerana lumpuh.

 

Rosemary Marian

Mereka dari Indoesia yang mengearkan diri mereka "Rosemary Marian". Mereka popular dengan lagu mereka yang bertajuk Gadis Sakura. Mereka dari Kalangan Oshare Kei. Oshare kei Kurang terkenal berbanding dengan visual kei kerana baju mereka terlalu terang. Icon Oshare Kei iaitu Ancafe telah disband. Vocalist Ancafe telah keluar dari Ancafe dan menubuhkan band baru iaitu "Lc5". Bassist Ancafe, Kanon telah mengikuti Kanon Wakashima. Dan telah mengelarkan diri mereka "Kanon X Kanon" itu sedikit sebanyak info tentang Oshare kei.
